Rocky Mountain National Park

I don't think this blog can handle the number of pictures we took yesterday.
We started at Estes Park where we stopped to get our bearings.
We took the Fall River entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park. I had to get time entry tickets and the bummer was I couldn't go to Bear Laje on those tickets? Anyhoo... we drove a little, I stopped and got pictures,  drove some more,  stopped again.
Like true pioneers we took the Old Fall River Road path - a one way dirt road with switchbacks and some narrow edges. But wowzers, some wonderful views. Honestly my mom took the most of the pictures from the car.  There were so many places to pull over and stop but some of the better views were during the drive.

I did stop at one pull off and got some pics of some falls.
The road ended at the Alpine Visitor Center. Just as we were arriving there were a bunch of elk who crossed the road.
Views from the visitor center.
We left on route 34 and ended up at the Grand Lake Entrance. Then we took route 40 to 70. It was a big Ole loop and even though we didn't hike lots it was a long day.

Meow Wolf Convergence Station

Day one in Denver. We took it easy because #jetlag. We only had one thing to do today - Meow Wolf Convergence Station. But, before we get there,  our first stop was breakfast at Four Friends Kitchen.
And a little street art in Denver.
Okay but Meow Wolf. It's what you call immersive art. There are four Meow Wolf locations in the US: Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Denver, and Grapevine, TX. All of them have different themes.  At the Convergence Station you visit the world's of Immensity, Eemia, Ossuary, and Numia. Also, if you get the QPass, you get to discover an added story.
IMMENSITY
Ossuary
Numina
We explored these world's for a solid three hours before returning to earth.
We spent the evening chilling with our awesome hosts Dana and Lilly.

Getting there is half the battle

Travel is always a mix of... "it's so exciting to be going to a new place" and "are we there yet?" Traveling across time zones is exhausting and confusing for the brain.  There's not a lot to report about right now, but more excitement to come!

Highlights of the day:
Plane delays because the pilot got sick last minute.
Waiting an hour in line to pickup the car rental.

Waiting to go to Denver...

Delta has in-flight movies and we could track our flight.

I'm really good at taking random pics.

Denver and Home Again (Days 9 and 10)

Okay, so spoiler alert. I didn't take that many pictures these last few days. Eventually, I can spruce them up, because my nephew took ...
