Grand Canyon or Bust

New Year.  New travels. This time we're headed to the Grand Canyon and some National Parks in Utah. But getting there is half the battle. 

Today started with an early start to pick up a bus to the airport. The flight was at 7:15 am and I know we left the house early... around 1am. I didn't really get much sleep. 

We met up with my brother and nephew and headed out the Arizona, with a layover in Houston.
We arrived in Phoenix early enough to jump in the pool, visit Walmart for snacks, and get dinner from Fate Brewing Company. 

I'm not going to lie, we're all pretty spent and tired. Tomorrow we got up the zoo and journey towards the Grand Canyon!!
