Then we started the long drive to Alamosa. Along the way we took a quick dive through The Garden of the God's. Pretty much some big rock structures.

Long Road to Alamosa
Well some days don't go as you had initially planned. We were going to check out Red Rocks, but I realized my mom wouldn't enjoy it (because she's a bit gimpy and stairs are hard). So INSTEAD, we went out to visit my friend Emily and her family! I can't take a Colorado trip and not see Em.
I got to see her daughter play soccer and Q and I planned a trip to Mt. Everest and Meow Wolf.
Alamosa was like a 4 hour drive. My mom took most of the pictures through the car window.
We passed through some pretty sad looking towns. Alamosa was pretty nice - it has a Starbucks so.... winner for me.
